    Hello everyone! On behalf of the World Rural Tourism Congress Secretariat, I would like to report to you on two main matters: first, to summarize the work of the second quarter; second, to arrange the work of the third quarter.

    I. Briefing on the second quarter of the World Rural Tourism Congress 2022

    In 2022, the global rural tourism industry gradually regained vitality in the precise epidemic prevention and control, and our World Rural Tourism Congress service platform has been increasingly improved on top of the existing foundation, and we have accomplished "three major events" in the second quarter mainly on the basis of the first quarter.

    First, the organization is increasingly standardized. Up to now, the membership of World Rural Tourism Congress has increased from 213 to 220 in the first quarter; at the same time, we issued the General Plan (Workbook) on Further Improving the Service Platform System of World Rural Tourism Congress, which specifies seven system programs such as the rules of operation of the Congress membership, the service methods of the Congress membership, and the special working committee for the organization and operation of the Congress.

    Second, the conference platform has become increasingly active. With the Countryside Tourism Academy as the live communication platform, 11 biweekly public service live classes were conducted; with the focus on brand cultivation and market development of "100 cities", the regular promotion activities of "World Rural Tourism Congress Members' Brand Marketing Month" were carried out every month. At the same time, in April and June of this year, we held the second quarterly working meeting of the Secretary General of the 2022 World Rural Tourism Congress and the second quarterly business interaction meeting of the 2022 World Rural Tourism Congress members respectively.

    Thirdly, the base construction is becoming more and more perfect. World Rural Tourism International Education Center - Country Travel Academy building has been put into use, teaching, living, activities, learning four functional areas continue to improve, the operation is on track, and issued the Country Travel Academy publicity manual, for the General Assembly members to carry out to hold all kinds of learning and training, meetings and conventions, special activities to provide a base guarantee.

    II. Layout of the third quarter of the World Rural Tourism Congress 2022

    The 4th World Rural Tourism Congress will be held in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. In the third quarter, we hope that the Secretaries-General will work with us to implement the "four systems" of the Congress and fully serve the sustainable and high-quality development of global rural tourism.

    First, a comprehensive enhancement of the World Rural Tourism Congress member service system. In order to put the "World Rural Tourism Congress Member Service Management Trial Measures" into practice, comprehensively build the World Rural Tourism Congress talent cultivation system, industry development system, brand promotion system, work exchange system, and guarantee mechanism system, and provide good services throughout the whole process, I hope that the secretaries-general can assist the regional chairman (the president of each provincial and municipal district in the Chinese region) and the Congress secretariat to launch a good country travel school biweekly public welfare live Lecture,centralized public welfare training and other courses, the Secretary-General can also use this platform, use this platform to run some classes for members every year, to comprehensively improve the rural tourism business literacy and management capacity of the General Assembly member unit managers and practitioners. At the same time, the establishment of a good "day exchange, ten days live, monthly promotion, quarterly interaction, the annual General Assembly" efficient work operating mechanism, we should make full use of our regions and chapters of the contact group, and members to maintain regular contact, to convey the General Assembly documents and related information.

    Secondly, the comprehensive enhancement of the World Rural Tourism Congress product brand promotion system. In order to fully cultivate the distinctive brands of rural tourism at different levels, especially the member brands of the Congress, we hope that the Secretaries-General will assist the regional chairmen (the presidents of the provincial and municipal regions in China) and the Congress Secretariat, and take the World Rural Tourism Town and the permanent venue of the World Rural Tourism Congress - the Light of the Countryside as the basis, and the World Rural Tourism Congress as the total The World Rural Tourism Congress will be used as the overall guide to cultivate the world's highest award for rural tourism (i.e. the "Oscar" of global rural tourism) - the Light of Countryside and the "Gold Medal City". "We hope that you will make full use of your respective markets. We hope that you will make full use of your market resources to package your member products and your own products, and carry out joint promotion, organize various regular and non-regular online and offline series of brand promotion activities for rural tourism, so as to fully promote the brands of your members and your own products.

    Third, the overall improvement of the World Rural Tourism Conference Secretary quarterly exchange system. In order to better serve all members, standardize and improve the overall quality and service level of the Secretary General team, we will hold a quarterly Secretary General service member interaction meeting, in principle, in the middle of the first month of each quarter, the main purpose is to understand the recent work of each chapter, to help members solve problems, and later our regional Secretary General will also come to make work exchanges. At the same time, in order to comprehensively improve the international influence of the General Assembly and enhance the business level of members, we have established a system of quarterly interactive meetings of members' business work, in principle, in the middle of the last month of each quarter, each time 5-6 members for classic exchanges. These two quarterly interactive meetings are the top priority of the General Assembly to establish an efficient working interaction mechanism, and we want to realize these two meetings to promote each other, so that the General Assembly can really become a big platform to win together for rural tourism development. I hope that the Secretary-General after the meeting can take the initiative to get in touch with members of the General Assembly in their region, to understand the needs of member services and help members to solve difficulties while winning their own development space, and truly become a family and community of interests.

    Fourth, the comprehensive enhancement of the World Rural Tourism Conference development of academic research system. In order to accelerate the formation of global rural tourism planning and design, quality standards, talent team and other construction of the application of theoretical system, with China Zhejiang Rural Tourism Research Institute and the Rural Tourism Academy as the main carrier, we are recently editing the book "Rural Tourism Planning Practice", expecting to make this book into a classic book of global rural tourism planning, I hope that the Secretary-General to organize the members in their regions to actively provide cases, and jointly seize We hope that all the secretary-generals will organize their members in their regions to actively provide case studies and jointly seize the academic high ground of global rural tourism. At the same time, based on the World Rural Tourism Information Data Center, we will comprehensively build the World Rural Tourism Development Index System and Index Report System. We will identify monitoring points among our members, and we also ask our secretaries-general to work together to identify members who are interested in becoming monitoring points for the Global World Rural Tourism Development Index and assist them in their application and reporting work.
