On April 27, WRTC 2022 Second Quarterly Regional (Branch) Secretaries General Meeting was successfully held at the International Conference Center of World Rural Tourism Town—— Rural Light in Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. Mr. Gan Yongfu, Stationed Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the WRTC, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Asia Pacific Region Secretary General Joselito R. Costas, Robert Basiuk, Europe Region Secretary General Michail Toanoglou, Africa Region Secretary General Moez Kacem, Americas Region Secretary General Alejandro Casrto Alfaro and China Region Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Branch, Yangtze River Delta Branch, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Branch and 31 provincial and urban branches Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General participate the meeting online. Shen Xiaohong, Office Director of the WRTC, Zeng Wanquan, Foreign Affairs Secretary, Xing Dongyi, Conference Secretary, Yu Haigang, Administrative Secretary, You Wenhao, Brand Secretary, Liu Xishuo, Headquarters Liaison Officer, Shi Weiping, Yang Qianqian, Shi Keliang, Shen Li and Wang Shuying, Regional Liaison Secretaries attended the meeting in the main venue.
Ms. Shen Xiaohong, informed World Rural Tourism Conference Regional (Branch) Secretary General’s job responsibilities and operating mechanism. She pointed out that the Secretary-General is mainly in accordance with the “daily communication, ten-days live class, monthly promotion, quarterly interaction, annual conference” work mechanism. The six major responsibilities are: assisting the regional chairman, liaising with the region on a daily basis, organizing regional meetings and activities, coordinating the brand cultivation of the conference, assisting members in market operation, and exchanging experiences.
Asia Pacific Region Secretary General Joselito R. Costas, Europe Region Secretary General Michail Toanoglou, Africa Region Secretary General Moez Kacem, and China Region Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Branch Secretary General Liu Jun made exchanges on the actual situation of rural tourism in their respective regions.
Finally, Mr. Gan Yongfu talked about his ideas from the "six win-win" perspectives on the work of the regional (branch) Secretary General. He stressed that we should work together to build a win-win platform, market, brand, wisdom, wealth and business for rural tourism development. He pointed out that all colleagues should work together to create the best Secretary-General team of the World Rural Tourism Conference, and let’s join hands to do the great business of world rural tourism, with a win-win result and making profit.
