On February 17, 2022 World Rural Tourism Conference Members' Quarterly Business Interaction Meeting was successfully held at the International Conference Center of World Rural Tourism Town—— Rural Light in Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. Mr. Gan Yongfu, Stationed Vice Chairman and Secretary General of WRTC, presided over the meeting.

Vice Chairmen Scott Supernaw, Doris Maria Wolfer, Mario Hardy, Secretary of Region Michail Toanoglou, Alejandro Casrto Alfaro, Moez Kacem, Robert Basiuk, Joselito R. Costas, and all members and heads of headquarters-installed agencies participated in the meeting online. Shen Xiaohong, Office Director of the WRTC, Zeng Wanquan, Foreign Affairs Secretary, Xing Dongyi, Conference Secretary, Liu Inshuo, Headquarters Liaison Officer, Yu Haigang, Shen Weiping, Yang Qianqian and Shi Keliang, Regional Liaison Officer attended the meeting in the main venue.

Shen Xiaohong, Office Director of the Conference, reported the WRTC’s work of last year and arrange the work in 2022. She pointed out in the report that 2021 was the starting year of the WRTC. In this year, the WRTC mainly completed “six tasks”: the platform of conference was established, Rural Light opened, the RL Cup brand was generated, the Forum was successfully held, the website was set up, and we signed cooperation agreements with many institutes. Looking ahead to 2022, in order to serve the "belt & road" initiative, sustainable and high-quality development of rural tourism, to achieve rural vitalization and common prosperity, and to build a community of human destiny, we will fully implement the “ten systems”——the WRTC base system, the organization system, the event system, the WRTC branding system, the industrial system, the website system, the Rural tourism school system, the academic research system, the data system, and the WRTC operation system.

Vice Chairmen Mario Hardy, Doris Maria Wolfer and Scott Supernaw shared their work on the future development of the WRTC and the restart of the global tourism industry in the post-COVID-19 epidemic era.

In the concluding session, Mr. Gan Yongfu, Stationed Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the WRTC, gave a speech on the four aspects——organization be “strong”, the market be “active”, the Brand be “beautiful”, the benefit be “high” to expressed his views and suggestions of the WRTC. He stressed that all members work together to be more interactive and make our brands more famous, and march towards the world.
